Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Brown (ranked 1183 p4p, 136 weight class) and Expendable Crewman V (ranked 2008 p4p, 235 weight class). Crewman V is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Warrior song. Expendable Crewman V told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to clinch up but Crewman V circles away and keeps his distance.
Crewman V fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Brown checks it well.
Brown throws a looping overhand right but Crewman V ducks down to avoid it.
Brown misses with a body shot.
Crewman V throws a good cross that connects.
Crewman V throws the kick towards the body but Brown avoids it.
Brown was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Crewman V throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A shot to the body from Crewman V misses
and Brown counters with a leg kick.
Crewman V has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Crewman V takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Brown keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Crewman V tries to move into range but Brown moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Brown throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Expendable Crewman V has been cut.

and Crewman V counters with a series of strikes. Brown will be more careful next time no doubt.
Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Brown throws a body shot but no joy.
Brown defending well as Crewman V loads up on a big left hand.
Brown paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Crewman V looks to land a combination but Brown avoids it well.
Crewman V misses with a straight left.
Brown pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Crewman V tries a quick counter leg kick but Brown is wise to it.
Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Crewman V looks like he wants to counter punch here.

and Brown counters with a crisp one two that drops Crewman V! Brown thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Crewman V to his feet! Crewman V is in big trouble!
Brown lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Crewman V falls backwards - clearly groggy! Brown dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
