Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luuk Smijts (ranked 5681 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rizky Nanda (ranked 7474 p4p, 0 weight class). Rizky Nanda is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rizky Nanda!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smijts clinches up with Nanda and pushes him back against the cage.

Smijts is trying to trip Nanda. He has hold of a leg but Nanda is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Smijts persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Nanda has his feet on Smijts's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Nanda looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nanda jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Smijts throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nanda was covering up waiting for the punch and Smijts finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Nanda manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Smijts gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
