Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ines Reuter (ranked 8876 p4p, 729 weight class) and Mike Patton (ranked 8554 p4p, 708 weight class). Reuter comes to the ring accompanied by Habiba. Patton is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Imperial March (L.O.D. Rage Mix). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Reuter throws a body kick that misses.
Patton lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Reuter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A nice combination there by Patton.

Patton tries to bum rush Reuter with a series of wild strikes but Reuter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Reuter tries to counter by clinching up but Patton breaks away and moves out of range.

enabling Reuter to counter with a crisp jab.
Reuter throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Patton's head.

No joy there for Patton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Reuter lands a head kick that bluckles Patton and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Reuter no doubt looking to push for a finish!

Reuter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Reuter tries to clinch but Patton is having none of it.
Patton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

As Reuter backs off Patton throws a huge counter combo but Reuter manages to avoid it all.
Reuter throws the kick towards the body but Patton avoids it.
Reuter throws a push kick but Patton slaps the foot to one side.

Reuter looks to land a body kick but Patton moved away.
Reuter slips a straight right by Patton.
Reuter seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Reuter.

Reuter stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Patton.

and Patton counters with a three punch combo that has Reuter backing up. Reuter nods at Patton to acknowledge the strikes.
Patton lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Patton swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Reuter throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Patton takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Reuter rushes Patton and presses him up against the ropes.
Reuter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Reuter tries to score with a low kick but Patton moves his leg out of the way.
Patton scores with a one two! Reuter had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Oh Reuter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ines Reuter's cut is getting worse.

and Patton counters with a big uppercut that drops Reuter face first to the mat! Will he beat the count?! He's struggled up to his knees on 7 but it doesn't look like he's going to make it... he's been counted out! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Mike Patton!
In his post fight interview, Mike Patton started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
