Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Enzo Makaronelli (ranked 4814 p4p, 614 weight class) and Kenny McCormick (ranked 2718 p4p, 397 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makaronelli tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. McCormick manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
McCormick feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Makaronellis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Makaronelli throws a lazy body kick
enabling McCormick to counter with a crisp jab.
McCormick is looking to slow Makaronelli down with leg kicks.
McCormick avoids a punch combination nicely.
Makaronelli is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
McCormick tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Makaronelli was well out of range. Poor timing from McCormick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Makaronelli staying out of range there.
Makaronelli appears to be looking for a big counter.
Makaronelli closes the distance but McCormick moves to the side
and McCormick counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Makaronelli closes the distance looking to clinch
enabling McCormick to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Makaronelli tries to close the distance and clinch but McCormick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McCormick moves into range and connects with a jab.
Makaronelli misses with a double jab
and McCormick counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Makaronelli is rocked!
McCormick circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Makaronelli tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! McCormick wins by KO!
