Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Williams (ranked 5734 p4p, 279 weight class) and Max Superior (ranked 3203 p4p, 152 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nick Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Max Superior! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Superior manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Williams uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Superior.
Superior misses with a straight right. Superior swings for the body but Williams moves out of range.
Superior connects with a good right hand that stumbles Williams. Williams circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Nice cross by Superior. Williams closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Williams is keen to just control but Superior is a slippery customer. Superior is controlling Williams's position as best he can from this difficult position. Williams is looking to take a break and control but Superior is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Superior is controlling Williams's position as best he can from this difficult position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Superior is not content to let Williams control the position. Williams is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Superior holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Williams wants to take a breather but Superior is having none of it. Williams is really struggling to control Superior but he's trying to hold on to the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Superior blocking the ground and pound attempt from Williams. Superior is staying active underneath Williams, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Williams misses with a few strikes there.
Superior has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Williams shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Superior as he jumps to the side. Williams takes one to the chin there. Superior connects with a good right hand that stumbles Williams. Williams circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Superior bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Superior tests Williams's chin there with a solid looking shot. Superior scores with a decent looking hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Williams drops his hands momentarily and Superior takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Superior avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Williams could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Superior steps in with a hook that catches Williams right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Superior follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Williams looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Superior! A very excited looking Max Superior made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
