Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Filiberto Pruitt (ranked 10041 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knox Davis (ranked 6545 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis has taken the fight to the clinch.

Davis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pruitt takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Davis throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Pruitt counters with a one-two to the body.

Davis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Davis stays in close to Pruitt's body and controls the position.

Davis slips nicely into half guard.
Davis working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Pruitt is rocked!
Pruitt is trying to stand.
Davis with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Davis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pruitt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Oh Pruitt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pruitt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pruitt seems to have got his legs back now.
Davis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Davis tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis content to control rather than advance.

Davis works his way into full mount!
Davis postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Pruitt bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Davis and the fight is over!
