Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rico Fidel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Uppercut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fidel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eye Of The Tiger - Survivor. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fidel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Uppercut is going olschool here, as he tries to force Fidel to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fidel shrugs it off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Uppercut jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fidel walks away with a smile on his face. Uppercut gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fidel, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
