The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fort clinches up with Tan and pushes him back against the cage. Fort has Tan pressed against the cage, preventing Tan from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Fort jumps into guard, dragging Tan to the mat.
Fort manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Fort successfully pulls guard.
Tan is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fort has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Tan is looking to defend but Fort has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Tan! Fort pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Tan taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jack Fort!
