Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Landry (ranked 3275 p4p, 439 weight class) and Andy Bangsit (ranked 3325 p4p, 443 weight class). Landry comes to the cage accompanied by Ride Wit Me - Nelly. Ed Landry could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Andy Bangsit's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ed Landry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Bangsit! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Landry throws a right hand that Bangsit ducks under and follows up with a left that Bangsit also avoids with ease. A looping hook to the body misses from Landry. Bangsit does a little dance to reset his feet. Bangsit flicks out a counter leg kick but Landry steps away. Bangsit looking to score a takedown here. Landry is defending well but Bangsit drives through and ends up in Landry's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bangsit is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bangsit cracks Landry with a solid left hand. Bangsit throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Landry works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bangsit has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bangsit stands and throws Landry's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bangsit tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bangsit is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Landry is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Landry pushes Bangsit away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bangsit gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bangsit looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Landry tries to get back to half guard but can't. Landry parries the strikes from Bangsit easily there. Bangsit is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Landry to escape.
Bangsit tries for a kimura but Landry is defending well. Bangsit is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Landry has escaped the position, nice work there. Landry is pushing Bangsit's head away, looking to escape. Bangsit manages to hold on to the position though. Bangsit working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bangsit is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Landry has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Landry is looking to regain half guard here but Bangsit keeps moving and retains side control. Landry tries to escape back to his feet but Bangsit has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Landry's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Landry is tapping! Bangsit saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
