These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramaphosa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Ramaphosa shoots in for a double leg but Arnessen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Arnessen has Ramaphosa pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Ramaphosa is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Arnessen - that's hurt Ramaphosa badly! Oh, another knee lands and Ramaphosa is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Ramaphosa doesn't seem to be complaining.
