The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindell shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Guerra eats them both and turns towards Lindell to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Jewel Guerra has been cut.
Guerra could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lindell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Guerra circles away quickly and effectively.
Lindell looks to land a combination. Guerra sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lindell looks winded!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Guerra's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lindell darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lindell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lindell closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lindell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Guerra sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Guerra is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lindell's half guard.

Guerra is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Guerra connects with a nice short shot to Lindell's temple.

Guerra stands up out of the half guard.

Guerra closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Guerra wants a takedown but no success here.
Guerra drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lindell tries to circle away but Guerra has him pinned against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Guerra gets control of Lindell's arms and successfully pulls guard. Guerra will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Guerra bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lindell's guard.

Guerra postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Guerra gets to his feet. Lindell looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Guerra bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lindell tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Guerra throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Lindell!

Guerra lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Guerra.

Guerra is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Guerra is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Lindell won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Guerra off his unconscious opponent!
