Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igor Wietrzny (ranked 4997 p4p, 442 weight class) and Elias Al Haddad (ranked 7716 p4p, 542 weight class). Wietrzny comes into the arena with Hunter-Fallen blaring out of the sound system. Igor Wietrzny had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 35 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Igor Wietrzny! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 24 - 2, fighting out of New York, Elias Al Haddad! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Al Haddad lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Al Haddad lands with a nice combination. Wietrzny backs away looking to recover. Al Haddad connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Al Haddad connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Al Haddad scores with a punch to the head. Al Haddad circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wietrzny needs to keep his hands up - Al Haddad had a free shot at his head there. This has been an exciting period of action! Wietrzny swings for the body but Al Haddad moves out of range.
Wietrzny is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Al Haddad misses with a jab, cross combination.
Al Haddad throws a combination. Wietrzny tries to block but a couple of punches get through. A right-left combo lands from Al Haddad.
Wietrzny is rocked! Al Haddad lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Oh Wietrzny is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice shot by Al Haddad. Elias Al Haddad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Al Haddad uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wietrzny.
Wietrzny drops his hands momentarily and Al Haddad takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Wietrzny closes the distance looking to clinch and Al Haddad counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Wietrzny misses. Al Haddad tests Wietrzny's chin there with a solid looking shot. Al Haddad lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Wietrzny walks straight into a right hand from Al Haddad - that's dropped him! Al Haddad jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Wietrzny from any more punishment! Wietrzny complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Elias Al Haddad! A relieved looking Elias Al Haddad thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
