Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Baumann (ranked 3200 p4p, 369 weight class) and Marv Ellis (ranked 3701 p4p, 413 weight class). Baumann comes to the cage accompanied by Bombs Over Baghdad. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis throws a poor cross that misses
letting Baumann counter with a right hand.
Baumann misses with a hook. Ellis ducked under it nicely.

Baumann closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ellis to the mat! Ellis manages to get full guard.

Baumann is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ellis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Baumann.

Baumann lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Baumann dives in for a single leg takedown but Ellis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ellis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Baumann has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Baumann and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ellis felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Ellis has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Baumann is really squeezing tight and eventually Ellis passes out! Baumann breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
