Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pain Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malvin Maldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peters comes to the cage accompanied by BringThe Pain. Maldi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Loituma TECHNO!. Malvin Maldi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pain Peters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Malvin Maldi! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peters throws a head kick but Maldi moves out of range.
Maldi throws a nice looking combination but Peters bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A right-left combo lands from Maldi. Peters tries a head kick but it misses.
Peters walks into a jab. Maldi misses with a looping right. Peters misses with a straight right. Maldi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Maldi misses with a straight left. Maldi misses with the combination.
Peters tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Peters misses with a head kick.
Maldi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Maldi connects with a jab. Maldi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Maldi scores with a one two! Peters had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peters throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Maldi on the side of the head. Peters uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Maldi. Peters throws a looping overhand right but Maldi ducks down to avoid it. Maldi looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Maldi is pushing down on Peters's leg trying to pass to half guard. Peters is fighting to maintain full guard but Maldi has managed to sneak the leg through. Peters manages to get to full guard.
Peters has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Maldi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Peters. Maldi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Peters, who protects the arm well. Peters tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Maldi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peters tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Maldi presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Maldi controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peters working to try and regain half guard.
Peters sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Peters looking for submissions off his back. Peters is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Maldi is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Peters is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Malvin Maldi!
