Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robert Stone (ranked 3687 p4p, 359 weight class) and Caol Dos (ranked 4204 p4p, 388 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by Chill Bill. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caol Dos! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos wants to clinch up but Stone keeps it at a distance. Dos wants to clinch and Stone counters with a low kick, right behind Dos 's knee. Dos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Stone feints and then cracks Dos's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dos down. We've been told by Stone's head coaches at Heart Cave (8 elites, 4 double-elites, 1 triple) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Dos looks to score with a jab to the body but Stone is just out of range. Dos throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Stone counters with a lovely shot to the body. Dos misses with a hook
and Stone counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Stone comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dos looks for a takedown but Stone sprawls well. An inside leg kick lands from Stone. Dos misses with a hook

Stone circles away from the clinch attempt and Stone makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Dos gets off balance looking for a body kick and Stone counters with a slapping leg kick. Dos looks to throw the jab but Stone is out of range. A slapping leg kick lands for Stone.
Dos takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Stone throws a quick inside leg kick. Dos misses with a takedown and Stone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Stone scores with a kick to the body.

and Stone counters with a low kick, right behind Dos 's knee. Stone scores with a nice strike. Dos walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Stone displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dos. Stone with a nice cross. Dos misses with the body kick and Stone counters with a body kick. Stone uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dos. Dos misses with a combination
and Stone counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dos's knee momentarily. Dos misses with a hook. Stone has Dos up against the cage in a clinch.
Stone lands a good knee to the midsection. Dos won't want to take too many of those. Dos's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stone stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Stone went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Stone lands a right hook to the body.

Stone stalks Dos and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dos's face. Dos staggers backwards, shaken. Dos doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dos misses with a hook to the body
enabling Stone to counter with a crisp jab. Stone lands a nice shot to the body.
Dos tries to clinch but Stone moves away and Stone counters with a solid body kick. Dos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stone is fending him off so far but Dos persists. Nope, Stone circles away and we're back to standing. Stone swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Dos misses with a shot to the body and Stone counters with a leg kick. Stone displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dos throws out the jab. Stone thuds his right hand into Dos's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Stone scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stone scores with a nice body kick.

Stone lands a head shot. Stone instigates a clinch. Stone lands a knee to the body.
