Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fifth Fist (ranked 2333 p4p, 278 weight class) and Cameron Gowing (ranked 2672 p4p, 309 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Fifth Fist! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cameron Gowing! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fist misses the shot to the body. Gowing goes for a double leg but Fist avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fist continues to drive forward. Fist's corner calls for a 1-2. Fist obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Fist throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gowing moves away from the strike by Fist. As Fist backs off Gowing throws a huge counter combo but Fist manages to avoid it all. Gowing uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fist.
Gowing tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fist was well out of range. Poor timing from Gowing. Gowing looks for a takedown but Fist sprawls well. It looked like Fist was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Gowing. Fist avoids the head kick by Gowing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gowing has managed to clinch.
Gowing changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fist fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Fifth Fist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cameron Gowing. Gowing takes one on the button.
It looks like Cameron Gowing has been cut. Fist avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A counter left hand to the body from Fist misses its target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fist lands a nice hook to Gowing's body. Gowing takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Fist swats away the attempt to clinch by Gowing. The fight stays on the outside here - Gowing looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fist throws a big counter combination but Gowing scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Fist has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fist there as he acknowledges the shot. Gowing keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fist lands a glancing blow to the side of Gowing's head. Gowing misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fist is looking to wear down Gowing with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Gowing tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fist manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Gowing shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fist as he jumps to the side. Fist swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gowing closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gowing lands in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fist pulls Gowing in close to prevent any damage. Gowing in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gowing missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gowing gets to his feet. Fist looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gowing has closed the distance and engaged Fist in a clinch.
Fist scores with a shoulder strike. Fist wants to break free but Gowing has control.
Gowing successfully pulls guard.
Fist won't allow Gowing to sweep him here. Gowing pulls Fist in to control the position. Fist looking to sit in guard and control but Gowing gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Fist can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gowing controls the pace. Gowing tries to free his leg and advance position but Fist is retaining full guard. Gowing not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gowing gets to his feet - Fist follows without any prompting. Fist feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gowing sprawling to the canvas! Gowing rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fist finish him?!
Gowing is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fist darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Gowing's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Fist before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fifth Fist! Fifth Fist decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
