Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Moura (ranked 828 p4p, 123 weight class) and He Mu (ranked 934 p4p, 136 weight class). Moura kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rickson Moura Entrance Song. Rickson Moura has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rickson Moura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, He Mu!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Moura coming out on top.
Moura throws a body punch but Mu moves out of range.
Moura wants to clinch up but Mu keeps it at a distance.
Moura connects with a body shot.
Nice shot lands for Mu.
Mu feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Moura's calf.
Moura changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mu tries to avoid it but Moura manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mu to the ground. Mu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moura misses with a body shot.
Moura closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mu counters with a left to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moura throws a shot from downtown. Mu moves away and avoids it.
Mu cracks Moura with an open hand slap.
Mu throws an off balance right hand
and Moura counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Moura.
Mu breaks from the clinch.
Moura tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mu was well out of range. Poor timing from Moura.
That kick from Mu tenderised Moura's leg. Moura is trying to keep his angry face on.
Rickson Moura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mu.
Mu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mu misses with a shot to the body
and Moura counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mu won't be happy with that.
Mu explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
This has been an exciting period of action!
A cross from Mu lands.
Mu throws a looping overhand right but Moura ducks down to avoid it.
Moura misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mu.
Mu appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Moura misses with a body shot.
Mu now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Moura gets a clinch.
Mu lands a nice uppercut.
I was talking to Moura's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Moura lands a body shot in the clinch.
Moura has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mu uses from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mu engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Mu wants to pass the guard but Moura is keeping the position.
Moura controls Mu momentarily but Mu frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Moura looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Mu wants to control from the top but Moura keeps moving.
Mu preventing the sweep.
Moura working for a triangle but Mu defends it easily.
Moura is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but He Mu will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Moura looks to throw the jab but Mu is out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Moura.
Mu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Mu drives through and clinches with Moura against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moura can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mu controls the pace.
Moura is adopting a defensive guard.

Mu is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Moura has his feet on Mu's thighs here. He's pushed Mu off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Mu screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
