Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renato Yared! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Byson misses with a few strikes there.
Yared takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Yared shoots for a takedown but Byson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Byson stalks Yared and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Yared's face. Yared staggers backwards, shaken. Byson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yared circles away quickly and effectively. Byson swinging wilding here.

That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Byson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Yared throws out a loose jab but Byson uses good head movement to avoid it. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Byson!
Byson scores with a one two! Yared had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Byson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yared circles away quickly and effectively. Byson fails to land with a series of punches.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Byson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Yared tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Byson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Byson throws a right and a left that both miss. Byson misses with a double jab.
Byson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Byson misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Yared is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Yared stops Byson from standing up. Yared has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Byson throws a combination that misses and Yared counters with a big head kick but Byson shrugs it off. Mike Byson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Byson throws a leg kick that is checked and Yared moves into the clinch. Yared tries for a takedown but Byson manages to get underhooks.

Yared comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Yared throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Yared prevents Byson from breaking the clinch. Byson prevents the takedown attempt.
Yared pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Byson throws a combination that misses and Yared counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Byson! Byson tries to buck Yared off but he can't manage it. Yared with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Byson is looking to improve his position but Yared isn't that keen on the idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yared is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Yared!
