Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernest Sloan (ranked 25581 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Kage (ranked 7900 p4p, 797 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kage feints a jab promting Sloan to slip. Kage then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sloan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kage lands an overhand right.
Kage scores with a nice head shot.
Kage throws a series of punches but Sloan avoids them all with ease.
Danga de danga de dang - Kage scores with a four punch combination!
Kage getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Sloan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sloan appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kage feints a jab promting Sloan to slip. Kage then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sloan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kage fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sloan on the side of the head.
Kage's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sloan under the eye.
Kage lands a nice shot to the body.
Kage connects with a right hand. Sloan shakes it off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kage tries to bum rush Sloan with a series of wild strikes but Sloan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sloan tries to counter by clinching up but Kage breaks away and moves out of range.
Kage scores with a body shot.
Kage misses with a double jab.
Kage scores with a nice right hand.
Kage lands a jab to Sloan's midsection.
Kage scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kage scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Sloan wants to clinch up but Kage keeps it at a distance.
Kage scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kage stuns Sloan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kage misses with a few strikes there.
Sloan has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sloan moves out of range as Kage throws a body kick.
Sloan appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Sloan shoots in looking for a takedown. Kage tries to sprawl out of it but Sloan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kage throws a body shot but no joy.
Kage throws a low kick, looking for Sloan's leg but Sloan calmly moves out of range.
Kage keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sloan fails with the takedown
and Kage connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kage displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sloan.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ernest Sloan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sloan dives in for a single leg takedown but Kage sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sloan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kage looks to land a combination. Sloan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Sloan blocks the body kick.
Kage lands a jab.
Kage's coach down at Kung Fu Fighting Club ($299 entry fee) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kage's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nice uppercut there from Kage.
Kage lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Sloan is rocked!
Gordon Kage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kage throws an overhand right that has Sloan reeling! Kage follows up with more punches and Sloan is out cold! This one is all over!
