Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Son Baldwin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, George Black! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black pushes Baldwin up against the cage in a clinch. Black has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Baldwin regains guard immediately. Baldwin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Black must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Black is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Baldwin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Baldwin throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baldwin tries to strike from the bottom.

Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baldwin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Black scores with a takedown into Baldwin's guard. Baldwin wants to get back to his feet but Black passes into half guard.
Baldwin wants to sweep but Black has passed to side control! Black thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Baldwin is not content to let Black control the position. Baldwin really is a fat lump. Baldwin prevents Black from improving position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Black taking a breather here. Baldwin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Let's hope that Black has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Baldwin wants to control but Black postures up. Baldwin tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Baldwin working to try and regain half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Baldwin tries to lock up and control but Black gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Baldwin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Black. Baldwin regains half guard. Baldwin misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Baldwin has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Black is on him like a limpet, forcing Baldwin back against the cage. Baldwin jumps guard but Black stands there with Baldwin around his waist. Baldwin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Black drags the fight down to the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Black looking for subs off his back but Baldwin has passed one foot through into half guard.
Baldwin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Baldwin is looking for a kimura but Black is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Baldwin to get the leverage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Black wants to control but Baldwin is keeping busy.
Black is controlling Baldwin's position as best he can from this difficult position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Black dominated that round. The cut man is working on Son Baldwin's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Black shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Black showed some decent athleticism there. Black blocks the strikes from Baldwin.
Ground and pound from Black. Black controlling the action here. Baldwin wants to control but Black is keeping busy and won't allow it. Baldwin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Baldwin tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Baldwin pushes Black off looking to stand but Black dives back in and keeps control.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Baldwin missing with punches from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Black looking to score a takedown here. Baldwin is defending well but Black drives through and ends up in Baldwin's guard. Baldwin lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Baldwin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Black is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Black has escaped and now he's on top!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Black showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Black would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Black chips away with some ground and pound. Baldwin is trying to keep Black in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Black postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Black wants to get up but he can't break Baldwin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Black lands a couple of digs. Baldwin throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Black not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Black scoring with some ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Black looking to control the position here, rather than advance. George Black showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Son Baldwin's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Black stuffs the takedown attempt from Baldwin. Baldwin gets slowly back to his feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Baldwin tries to pull guard but Black won't allow it.
Baldwin tries to stall but Black uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Baldwin looks to throw an elbow but misses. Baldwin manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Black is working Baldwin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Black connects with a couple of short punches. Baldwin doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Black is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Black trying to control the position from guard on top but Baldwin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Black pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Baldwin is keeping the position for now. Black is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Baldwin thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Black controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Baldwin keeping moving, preventing Black from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Baldwin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Black manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Black forces Baldwin back against the cage and clinches. Black blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Baldwin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Son Baldwin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Black has Baldwin pushed against the cage. Black breaks the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! George Black comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Black has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
