Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Black Coleman (ranked 2467 p4p, 299 weight class) and Ludvig Alexander (ranked 2302 p4p, 281 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Black Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ludvig Alexander! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexander feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Coleman's calf. Alexander scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Alexander throws a body shot but no joy. A leg kick checked by Coleman. Alexander is looking to clinch but Coleman is avoiding it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Alexander enables Coleman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Alexander manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A telegraphed right hand from Coleman misses the target. Coleman misses the jab. The fighters circling - Alexander throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Coleman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Alexander.
Coleman looks for a takedown but Alexander sprawls well. Coleman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Alexander, pushing him back against the cage. Alexander blocks a punch to the side of the head.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Coleman misses with a hook from the clinch. Coleman lands a right hand that snaps the head of Alexander backwards. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Coleman using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Alexander has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That was a close round but I would say that Black Coleman will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ludvig Alexander's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Coleman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alexander is on top in guard.
Alexander not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Coleman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alexander gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Coleman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Alexander manages to get himself to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ludvig Alexander. I think Coleman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
