Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Byron Tipton (ranked 1614 p4p, 72 weight class) and Haywood Badger (ranked 2242 p4p, 101 weight class). Haywood Badger has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Byron Tipton's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Byron Tipton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Haywood Badger!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tipton fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Badger has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Tipton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Badger defends it nicely.
Badger let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Tipton has been working on his balance at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center , so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Badger.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Haywood Badger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Tipton slips a jab and a cross from Badger.

It looks like Byron Tipton has been cut.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Badger checks a leg kick.
Oh Tipton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tipton takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Tipton on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Badger plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Tipton swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Tipton face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Haywood Badger!
A very excited looking Haywood Badger made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Byron Tipton stepped up to the mic, saying 'I know I am only 24, but I am retiring. Obviously I dont have what it takes to become a champion, there is no reason to put my body at harm for something that I suck at.'.
