Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hysse Berg (ranked 4636 p4p, 506 weight class) and Anthony Gilmore (ranked 4242 p4p, 474 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hysse Berg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Gilmore!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berg shoots in looking for a takedown. Gilmore tries to sprawl out of it but Berg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gilmore manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gilmore slaps away a takedown attempt from Berg, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Berg shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gilmore as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hysse Berg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Berg dives in and grabs Gilmore's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gilmore pushes down on Berg's head and hops out.
Gilmore ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Berg moves away.
Berg has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA ($500/week) in the buildup to the fight.
Berg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gilmore swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Berg.
It seemed like Gilmore was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Berg throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gilmore was covering up waiting for the punch and Berg finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Gilmore manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gilmore lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Berg can't get the takedown.
Berg throws a head punch that misses.
Berg's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Gilmore scores with a knee to the head.
Gilmore makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A right handed body shot lands from Gilmore.
Berg tries for a takedown but Gilmore manages to get underhooks.
Gilmore holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Berg tries to score a body lock takedown but Gilmore shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Gilmore just leaning against Berg, taking a breather.
Gilmore stalling.
Berg drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gilmore gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Berg tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gilmore smiles and moves away.
Berg is breathing heavily.
Gilmore is looking to slow Berg down with leg kicks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gilmore bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gilmore stuffs the takedown attempt from Berg. Berg gets slowly back to his feet.

Gilmore lands a big head kick that sends Berg tumbling to the mat! Gilmore takes a step backwards and waves Berg back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Hysse Berg has been cut.
Anthony Gilmore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gilmore throws a powerful right kick. Berg tried to block low but the kick was high! Berg was taken right off of his feet! Gilmore jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
