Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Dayley (ranked 4169 p4p, 512 weight class) and The Leadpunch (ranked 9297 p4p, 774 weight class). The Leadpunch will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Dayley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Leadpunch! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leadpunch moves in looking to clinch but Dayley pushes him off. Leadpunch looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Dayley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fight stays on the outside here - Leadpunch looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Leadpunch tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dayley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dayley swinging wildly here.
Leadpunch wants to counter with a clinch but Dayley pushes him away. Dayley throws a sloppy head kick and Leadpunch moves out of range easily. Dayley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Leadpunch keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dayley throws a leg kick but Leadpunch sees it coming and checks it nicely. Leadpunch takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dayley sets himself, and Leadpunch steps forward looking for the clinch! Dayley avoids it this time. Dayley throws a head kick but Leadpunch moves out of range.
Dayley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Leadpunch did well to prevent Dayley getting side control. Dayley is looking for a kimura but Leadpunch is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dayley to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leadpunch wants to control but Dayley is keeping busy.
Dayley is trying for a kimura here. Leadpunch looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Dayley wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). David Dayley! David Dayley decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
