The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Attano fails to land with a series of punches.
Compton misses with a low kick.
Attano tries to clinch up but Compton circles away and keeps his distance.
Compton moves away from the strike by Attano.
Compton throws a sloppy head kick and Attano moves out of range easily.

Attano lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Colt Compton has been cut.

Compton lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Compton takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Compton closes the distance but Attano moves to the side
and Attano counters with a series of strikes. Compton will be more careful next time no doubt.
Some bone on bone action there as Attano checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Compton shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A quick step to the side and Attano tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Attano moves out of range as Compton throws a body kick.
Compton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Compton is looking to clinch but Attano is avoiding it.

Attano looks to land a combination. Compton sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Attano darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Compton is rocked!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Attano looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Compton counters with a three punch combo that has Attano backing up. Attano nods at Compton to acknowledge the strikes.

Compton throws a head kick that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Corvo Attano will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Attano appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Attano lands a left and a right that send Compton crashing to the mat, dazed. Attano thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Compton is still on wobbly legs! Can Attano finish him?
Compton leaves his chin hanging out and Attano seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Compton crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
