Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arman Shaker (ranked 4344 p4p, 485 weight class) and Walter Black (ranked 2918 p4p, 350 weight class). Black comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Men in Black kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arman Shaker!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Walter Black!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Black momentarily.
Shaker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Black. That did some damage!
Black fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Good leg kick by Shaker there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Black tries to move into range but Shaker moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Black will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Black might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Shaker enables Black to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shaker manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Shaker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Black can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Shaker is pulling down on Black's head. It's preventing any offense from Black, at least for the moment.
Shaker wants to sweep but no luck.

Shaker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Black controls the pace.
Shaker is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shaker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Black shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Black cracks Shaker with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Shaker walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Black checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Well Shaker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
