Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Filiberto Clements (ranked 25330 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Rose (ranked 9097 p4p, 0 weight class). Filiberto Clements has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Filiberto Clements! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luis Rose! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rose closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Clements did well to prevent Rose getting side control. Clements trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Rose manages to pass to mount!
Rose wants to get back to his feet but Clements is holding on tight.
Rose lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Clements hang on? Clements really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rose misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Rose is looking to stand but Clements has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Clements regains half guard. Rose seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Rose is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Clements doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rose. Rose tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rose is looking to take a break and control but Clements is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rose sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Clements defending well though. Rose is working for a submission of some sort.
Clements is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rose perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Rose tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Clements. Clements blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rose. Rose is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Clements is defending against the submission attempts here by Rose.
Rose lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rose is thwarting Clements's attempts to control the position. Rose works his way into full mount! Rose is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Clements is surviving well by controlling Rose's body position as best he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rose moves to back control. Clements defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
You can see the frustration on Clements's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Luis Rose dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rose looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Luis Rose has got the better of the ground game so far. Rose trying to control the action but Clements is working from the bottom. Rose has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Rose looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rose not landing any meaningful shots this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rose throws a strike but Clements avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Rose trying to control but Clements is working from the bottom. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rose's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Rose throws a big right hand that misses. Rose has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rose wanted to stand there but Clements had control of the position. Rose passes Clements's left leg - he's now in half guard. Rose wants to pass to mount but Clements is defending the position. Clements manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Clements keeping moving, preventing Rose from controlling successfully. Clements knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rose on the ground. Clements looking for a sweep. Not yet Clements, not yet. Rose wants to stand but Clements is controlling his posture from full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rose takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rose fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Clements to the ground. Rose is now in Clements's guard. Rose throwing strikes from guard but Clements blocks nicely. Rose wants to pass the guard but Clements is keeping the position. Rose drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Clements manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rose has Clements in his guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clements accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clements being controlled here momentarily. Rose is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Clements defends well. Rose is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rose is controlling Clements's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rose avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luis Rose showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Rose closes the distance and pushes Clements back into the cage. Clements pulls guard. Rose drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Clements manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rose has Clements in his guard.
Rose looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rose has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rose is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clements postures up in Rose's guard and throws a big left but Rose blocks it. Rose is pulling down on Clements's head. It's preventing any offense from Clements, at least for the moment. Clements throws an elbow that misses. Rose uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Clements's guard. Nice move by Rose! Rose wants to control from the top but Clements keeps moving. Rose trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Clements looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Rose pushes down on Clements's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rose is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Clements is just riding it out for now. Rose eventually gives up the hold. Rose drops an elbow to the side of Clements's head.

Rose scoring with strikes to the body and head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rose connects with a nice short shot to Clements's temple. Clements is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Clements is refusing to be controlled, as Rose sits in half guard. Rose is working for a kimura but Clements is defending it quite comfortably.
Luis Rose is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rose is trying for a kimura here. Clements looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Rose wins by kimura!
