The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Underwood shoots for a takedown but Prior saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jayden Prior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Underwood looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Prior is fending him off so far but Underwood persists. Nope, Prior circles away and we're back to standing.
Some bone on bone action there as Prior checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Underwood gets caught napping as Prior dives in and scores a takedown. Underwood manages to retain guard.

Underwood manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Prior escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Prior throws a right hand that Underwood ducks under and follows up with a left that Underwood also avoids with ease.

Prior closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Underwood did well to prevent Prior getting side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Underwood is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Prior jumps into side control!

Underwood knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prior on the ground.
Prior wants to stand but Underwood is controlling his arm.

Prior is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Underwood looks calm but he's in trouble here. Prior gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Underwood is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Prior lets go of the hold and Underwood can pop his arm back in it's socket.
