Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bill Hicks (ranked 3863 p4p, 484 weight class) and Ricky Redford (ranked 5246 p4p, 614 weight class). Hicks's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bill Hicks at Dangerfields. Ricky Redford told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicks uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Redford.
Redford takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Hicks counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hicks.
Hicks struggles to land a body shot inside as Redford controls his hands.
Redford is trying to break the clinch but Hicks has him pressed against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hicks had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Redford defends it easily.
