The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Beast shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dantes counters with a stiff right hand.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Dantes!
It looks like Brock The Beast has been cut.
The Beast dives in for a single leg takedown but Dantes sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Dantes tests The Beast's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The Beast has his takedown stuffed
and The Beast takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock The Beast. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dantes throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Dantes has closed the distance and engaged The Beast in a clinch.
Dantes breaks the clinch.
The Beast fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dantes avoids it really well and circles away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Dantes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dantes lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dantes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits The Beasts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dantes lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - The Beast can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Dantes and The Beast drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Dantes.
