Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wen Wong (ranked 6873 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Pavard (ranked 4226 p4p, 476 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wen Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Benjamin Pavard! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Wong as Pavard shoots in. Pavard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wong sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pavard somewhat. Pavard rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wong connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wong keeps the fight on the outside. Pavard tries to move into range but Wong moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Wong lands a really nice looking cross but Pavard seems unphased.
Pavard throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wong was covering up waiting for the punch and Pavard finishes the takedown easily into guard. Pavard wants to stand but Wong has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Wong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wong avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pavard seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pavard is looking to work some ground and pound but Wong has wrist control. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pavard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pavard with a nice head shot there. Pavard wants to control from the top but Wong keeps moving. Wong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Pavard fails with the takedown and Wong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Wen Wong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benjamin Pavard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pavard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A head kick by Pavard misses and Pavard takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Pavard looks winded! Pavard throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wong counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Pavard tries to clinch enabling Wong to counter with a crisp jab. Wong lands a big uppercut and Pavard crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Pavard looks OK. Wong waves Pavard back to his feet!
Pavard is rocked!
It looks like Benjamin Pavard has been cut. Wong ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Pavard's jaw. Pavard's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Wong does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wen Wong! In his post fight interview, Wen Wong started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
