Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Thielke!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thielke fails with a takedown attempt.
Thrower lands a nice hook to Thielke's body. Thielke takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Thrower swinging wildly here.
Thrower lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Thrower throws a series of punches but Thielke avoids them all with ease.
Thielke misses with a body shot
and Thrower counters with a three punch combo that has Thielke backing up. Thielke nods at Thrower to acknowledge the strikes.
Thrower fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A combination from Thrower does no damage.

Thielke drives through with a takedown into Thrower's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thielke looking to sit in guard and control but Thrower gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Thielke is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thielke can do anything to dispel that myth.
Thielke has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Thrower has passed into side control.
Thielke is not content to let Thrower control the position.
Thielke is trying to improve his position.
Thrower passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Thielke!
Thielke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thrower. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Thrower blocks Thielke's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Thrower looking to control but Thielke is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Thielke is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Thrower wants to finish this one by submission but Thielke is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Thrower.
Thielke wants to try and get back to his feet.
Thrower throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Thielke because Thrower loaded up on that one.
Thrower thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Thielke is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Thrower will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looks like Daniel Thielke has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thielke really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Thielke is still in real trouble! Can Thrower finish him?
Thielke takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Thrower's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
