Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Denver Morgan (ranked 25498 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luka Ivanusec (ranked 6454 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ivanusec's choice of entrance music: Hit me baby one more time. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanusec avoids the body shot from Morgan.
Ivanusec changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Ivanusec throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Morgan was covering up waiting for the punch and Ivanusec finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Morgan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ivanusec is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morgan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ivanusec on the ground.
Morgan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Morgan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Morgan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ivanusec manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ivanusec closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ivanusec lands in his opponent's guard.
Morgan manages to escape and get back to his feet.

This has been an exciting period of action!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Morgan remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Morgan looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Morgan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ivanusec tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Morgan is in Ivanusec's guard.
Ivanusec is looking to stand back up but Morgan counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ivanusec.
Ivanusec is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Morgan is taking a breather. Ivanusec says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Morgan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ivanusec is looking for a sweep. Morgan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ivanusec tries to kick Morgan off but Morgan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Ivanusec looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Morgan has picked Ivanusec up and slammed him! Ivanusec can't keep hold of the triangle and Morgan manages to pass to side control!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Morgan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ivanusec has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Morgan but great work by Ivanusec.
Morgan tries to improve position but can't.
Ivanusec swings around for an armbar but Morgan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ivanusec's guard.
Ivanusec wants to sweep here but Morgan controlling him for the moment.
Morgan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ivanusec is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Morgan, into his guard.

Morgan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ivanusec doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ivanusec manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Morgan is looking to sweep but instead, Ivanusec has passed into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
