Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva blocks a head kick by Westbrook.
Westbrook tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Westbrook was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Silva.
Westbrook throws a head kick that misses.
Westbrook gets a takedown into half guard.
Westbrook is controlling the pace.

Silva makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Silva lands with a shot to the body.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Westbrook paws at him with a jab and circles away.

It looks like Renato Silva has been cut.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Westbrook sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Westbrook tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed right hand from Westbrook misses the target.
Silva takes a kick to the side of the head.
Silva has his takedown stuffed
and Westbrook counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Silva looks gassed!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Westbrook! Silva is out on his feet! Westbrook rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Silva is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Silva is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
