Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Leonardo (ranked 2176 p4p, 264 weight class) and Bugurt Bugurtov (ranked 5730 p4p, 593 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonardo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bugurtov's half guard.
Leonardo is looking for a kimura but Bugurtov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Leonardo to get the leverage.

Leonardo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bugurtov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Leonardo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bugurtov's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Ernesto Leonardo will probably get the nod.

Horrible takedown attempt by Leonardo or perhaps it was just good defense by Bugurtov, which made it look bad.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bugurtov working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Bugurt Bugurtov tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
