Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Strong Strongman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 23 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackjan Tio!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tio clinches up with Strongman and pushes him back against the cage.
Tio takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Jackjan Tio has been cut.
Tio changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Strongman fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tio dives in and grabs Strongman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Strongman pushes down on Tio's head and hops out.
Tio fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Strongman avoids it really well and circles away.
Strong Strongman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackjan Tio.
Tio throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Strongman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tio is in Strongman's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tio controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Tio drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tio jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Strongman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Strongman is wriggling around but Tio manages to pass to half guard.
Tio wants to control but Strongman is keeping him busy.

Strongman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Strongman tries to get out of the position.
Tio wants to stand up but Strongman has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Tio throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Tio tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Strongman.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tio misses with a head kick.
Strongman is looking to counter punch.
Nice takedown defense from Strongman. No joy for Tio on that attempt.
It looked like Strongman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Strong Strongman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tio shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Strongman sprawls well. Strongman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tio gets slowly back to his feet.

Tio shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Strongman but Strongman pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Strongman lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Strongman.
Strongman misses with an elbow strike.
Strongman lands an elbow just above Tio 's eye.
That has opened up Jackjan Tio's cut even more.
Tio blocks an elbow strike.
Strongman lands an elbow inside.
The cut above Jackjan Tio's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Tio looks winded!
Strongman landing knees to the body.

Strongman lands an elbow that stopped Tio in his tracks for a moment.
Jackjan Tio's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Strongman lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jackjan Tio's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
