Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Piano !
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw tries to clinch but Piano moves out of range.
Piano wants to counter with a clinch but Shaw pushes him away.
Shaw throws a one two combo.
Piano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shaw moves away.
Rick Piano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from Shaw misses.
Shaw falls off balance throwing a combination
and Piano makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Piano misses with a right hand
and Shaw counters with a left and a right that stings Piano .
Shaw is looking to clinch.
Piano scores with a shot to the body.
Piano looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Shaw shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


It looks like Deair Shaw has been cut.

Piano closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Piano lands a hook to the side of the head.
Piano lands a shoulder strike.
Piano dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes.
Piano scores with a nice hook to the head.
Shaw is breathing heavily.
Piano scores with an uppercut up the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shaw has had enough of the clinch but Piano keeps him there for the moment.
Shaw is trying to break free.
Piano softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Piano scores with a hook to the body.
Piano lands a body shot.
Piano lands an uppercut.
Piano lands a right hand.
Piano lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Shaw backwards.
Piano holding his opponent close, against the ropes.
Piano lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Shaw backwards.
Piano working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Piano lands with a short punch from the clinch.


Shaw is rocked!
Piano creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Shaw crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Shaw face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Piano takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
