Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Higgs Boson (ranked 2635 p4p, 87 weight class) and Dwayne Boskins (ranked 4942 p4p, 175 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Higgs Boson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dwayne Boskins!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boskins takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Boskins has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Boskins tries a head kick but it misses.
Some wild striking there from Boson.
Boson scoring well with a low kick there.
Boson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Boskins avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boskins throws a jab when Boson was well out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Boson. Those never looked like landing.
Boson misses with a lunging right hand
and Boskins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Higgs Boson has been cut.

Boskins rushes Boson and presses him up against the cage.

Boson manages to break the clinch.
Boson misses with a wild combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Boskins counters with a straight right hand.
Boskins defending well as Boson loads up on a big left hand.
Boskins moves away from the strike by Boson.
Boson misses with a looping right.
Boskins darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Boson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Boson avoids the head kick by Boskins.
Boskins lands a head kick!
Boskins goes for a double leg but Boson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Boson continues to drive forward.
Boskins keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boskins avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Boson throws a series of punches but Boskins avoids them all with ease.
Boson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boskins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boskins checks the leg kick nicely there.
A jab from Boskins finds it's way through Boson's defenses.
Boson ducks under a wild hook from Boskins.
Boson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Boson throws a jab when Boskins was well out of range.
Boskins tries a quick counter leg kick but Boson is wise to it.

Boson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boskins trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Boskins postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Boskins, into his guard.

Boskins wants to sweep here but Boson controlling him for the moment.
Boson looking to sit in guard and control but Boskins gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Boskins throws a big right hand that misses.
Boskins with a flurry of punches that miss.
Boskins wants to control from the top but Boson keeps moving.
Boskins content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boskins slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boskins forces his way into half guard.
Boskins throwing shots but Boson is blocking nicely.
Boskins working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Boskins slows the pace down in half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Boskins landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Higgs Boson's cut is getting worse.

Boskins is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Boskins is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Boson has managed to free his arm - good work.

Jeez, Higgs Boson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Higgs Boson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dwayne Boskins!
