Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oke Yagin (ranked 6472 p4p, 297 weight class) and Jean Labosky (ranked 16660 p4p, 352 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oke Yagin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yagin rushes Labosky and presses him up against the cage. Yagin throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Yagin displaying some good clinch control by pressing Labosky up against the cage. Yagin blocks an uppercut.
Yagin has Labosky pressed against the cage, preventing Labosky from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Yagin keeps control of Labosky as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Labosky jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yagin walks away with a smile on his face. Labosky gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Some wild striking there from Labosky.
Labosky jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yagin darts in looking for a takedown but Labosky gets double underhooks and turns Yagin into the cage. Yagin has Labosky up against the cage in a clinch.

Yagin is looking for a takedown. Labosky told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Yagin has Labosky pushed against the cage. Labosky working hard to break the clinch. Yagin has Labosky pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Yagin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Labosky tumbling to the mat - Yagin dives into Labosky's guard. Yagin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yagin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Labosky for as long as he can get away with. Yagin not landing any meaningful shots this time. Yagin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Labosky has his hands clasped together around Yagin's back. He's all about the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yagin controlling the action here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Yagin throws the kick towards the body but Labosky avoids it. Labosky lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Yagin takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Yagin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Labosky keeps control of the position for the meantime. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Yagin in particular looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yagin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A swing and a miss from Labosky. Labosky scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Labosky lands a nice leg kick that just misses Yagin's sensitive parts. Nice sprawl there from Labosky as Yagin shoots in. Yagin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jean Labosky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Yagin slips under a jab. Labosky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Labosky stuffs the takedown attempt from Yagin. Yagin gets slowly back to his feet. Labosky tries to sprawl but Yagin drives through with a takedown into half guard. Labosky tries to kick Yagin off in order to stand up. Yagin Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Labosky is being controlled here. Labosky tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yagin is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Labosky will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Labosky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Labosky is not content to let Yagin control the position. Labosky wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Yagin wants to control for a moment but Labosky uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Labosky holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Labosky trying to control here.
Labosky wants to get back to full guard but Yagin has mounted him! Labosky is squirming around, avoiding Yagin's attempts to control the action. Yagin controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Yagin raining down shots from the mount! Yagin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Labosky wants to hold on but Yagin pushes him away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Labosky is trying to escape the mount.

A close second round but Jean Labosky will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Yagin won't allow Labosky to sweep him here. Yagin sitting in guard, not really doing much. Labosky is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yagin won't allow Labosky to get back to his feet. Oke Yagin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Yagin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Yagin passes easily into side control. Nice work. Yagin slows the pace down. Yagin advances nicely into full mount.

Labosky sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Labosky wants to control but Yagin passes into side.
You can see the frustration on Labosky's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Yagin trying to control the position but Labosky is working away. Labosky is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Yagin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round.
