The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Maddock misses the target.
Maddock lands the left hand.
Maddock displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Maddock looks to land a right hand but Gill moved out of range.
Maddock throws a series of punches but Gill moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maddock, as that shot connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gill takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Maddock connects with a nice looking jab.
Gill shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Maddock cracks Gill with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Henry Maddock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maddock throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gill.
Gill tries to counter by clinching up but Maddock breaks away and moves out of range.
Maddock lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gill is rocked!
Maddock lands a nice shot that snaps Gill's head back.
Oh Gill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maddock knocks out Gill with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Maddock before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Maddock picks up the big W with a huge KO!
