The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nucombe counters with a straight right hand.
Knight takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've been told by Nucombe's head coaches at Ferocious Beast that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nucombe scores with the left hand. Knight knows he should have avoided that one.
Knight tries to move into range but Nucombe moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Knight throws a poor cross that misses
and Nucombe makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nucombe lands a jab to the head.
Nucombe lands with a nice body punch.
Nucombe jabs Knight to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nucombe scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nucombe lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Knight falls backwards - clearly groggy! Nucombe dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Neil Nucombe decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
