Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sasha Downdin (ranked 4149 p4p, 529 weight class) and Ronald Washington (ranked 3788 p4p, 483 weight class). The key to victory for Sasha Downdin has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Downdin throws a nice inside leg kick.
Washington with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Downdin to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Ronald Washington has been cut.
Downdin throws a looping overhand right but Washington ducks down to avoid it.
Downdin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Sasha Downdin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Washington's coach down at The Island Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Washington's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sasha Downdin will probably get the nod.

A relieved looking Sasha Downdin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
