Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gene Lawler (ranked 4192 p4p, 143 weight class) and Tiwat Preecha (ranked 4159 p4p, 141 weight class). Lawler comes to the cage accompanied by The Man. Tiwat Preecha told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gene Lawler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tiwat Preecha! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Preecha throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Preecha fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lawler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Lawler changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Preecha looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lawler is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Preecha knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Lawler working the ground and pound but Preecha is defending the strikes. Lawler looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Preecha is avoiding damage well.
The ground and pound from Lawler seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Lawler is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Preecha has escaped the position, nice work there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lawler tries for a kimura but Preecha is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lawler is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Preecha knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Preecha can do anything to dispel that myth. Lawler is trying to get an arm triangle but Preecha is defending well. Lawler is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Preecha looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lawler gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Preecha is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lawler lets go of the hold and Preecha can pop his arm back in it's socket.
