Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Favorton (ranked 7240 p4p, 534 weight class) and Kaan Aromdee (ranked 3299 p4p, 305 weight class). Kaan Aromdee is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aromdee misses with an uppercut. Favorton saw that one coming.

Aromdee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Favorton has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Favorton can't find room to land a body shot as Aromdee controls the action.

Aromdee works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Aromdee lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Aromdee is leaning against Favorton and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Favorton is trying to break the clinch but Aromdee has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aromdee works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Favorton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Aromdee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Aromdee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Favorton is trying to control the position but Aromdee postures up.
Aromdee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Favorton wants to sweep here but Aromdee controlling him for the moment.

Favorton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aromdee defends it easily.
Favorton is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Favorton is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Aromdee defends well.
Favorton controls Aromdee momentarily but Aromdee frees himself.

Aromdee is posturing up here but Favorton has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Aromdee tries to roll out but it's too tight and Aromdee has to tap! Slick submission there by Favorton!
