The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sammich looks to land a left hand but Rauta moved out of range nicely.
Rauta lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Sammy Sammich has been cut.

Sammich misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rauta.
Rauta is looking for the big counter here.
Rauta goes for a double leg but Sammich avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sammich continues to drive forward.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sammich controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Sammich's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rauta throws a right hand that Sammich ducks under and follows up with a left that Sammich also avoids with ease.
Sammy Sammich is winning the standup battle so far.
Sammich bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Rauta! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Rauta is trying to keep Sammich in close.

Rauta is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sammich is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rauta wants to stand up but Sammich is controlling him.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Rauta is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Rauta chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sammich can pounce on him.

Rauta is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sammich fakes the leg kick and cracks Rauta in the body.
Sammich leaves Rauta with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rauta tries to clinch up.
Rauta lands with a right hand.
Sammich drops Rauta with a straight right hand, right on the button! Sammich follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sammy Sammich!
Sammy Sammich tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
