The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkinson shoots in but Winters avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Winters swinging wildly here.
Winters lands with a nice combination. Wilkinson backs away looking to recover.
Wilkinson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Winters did well to prevent Wilkinson getting side control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wilkinson in particular looking to stall.
Winters wants to get back to his feet.

Wilkinson is looking to advance position but Winters won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wilkinson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Winters moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Winters looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Winters is looking to stand up but Wilkinson isn't so interested in that idea.
Wilkinson tries to free his leg and advance position but Winters is retaining full guard.
Winters working for a triangle but Wilkinson defends it easily.
Wilkinson stands and throws Winters's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Wilkinson controls the position from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Let's hope that Wilkinson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Wilkinson is working to tighten his grip on Winters's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Winters has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wilkinson is really squeezing tight and eventually Winters passes out! Wilkinson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

In defeat, Jonathan Winters stepped up to the mic, saying 'I want a title shot!'.
