Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wm Chaney (ranked 24458 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Lane (ranked 9846 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wm Chaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dylan Lane! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lane tries to clinch but Chaney is having none of it. Chaney thinks about countering with a head kick. Lane moves into range and clinches up with Chaney. Lane tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Chaney avoids it. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Chaney works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Chaney could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chaney controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Chaney stands and steps away. Lane gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Lane fails in his attempt to clinch. Chaney keeps the fight on the outside. Chaney is looking for a counter combo. Lane tries to clinch but Chaney is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lane throws a combination that misses and Chaney counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lane on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Well, if Chaney is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Dylan Lane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chaney on the side of the head. Lane is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Chaney looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chaney paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lane wants to clinch up but Chaney keeps it at a distance. Lane gets off balance looking for a body kick and Chaney counters with a left and a right that stings Lane. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chaney circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lane tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chaney manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Chaney closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lane is looking for a sweep. Lane wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Chaney stands up and we're back to a striking position. The fight stays on the outside here - Lane looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Chaney half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. A momentary lapse in concentration from Lane enables Chaney to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lane manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Chaney stands up from guard. Let's bang! Lane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chaney moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lane tries to close the distance and clinch but Chaney swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Lane falls off balance throwing a combination
and Chaney counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lane! Lane explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A nice combination there by Lane.
Lane is looking to clinch. Lane is looking to clinch. Lane is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lane wants to clinch up but Chaney keeps it at a distance. Chaney thinks about countering with a body kick. Lane gets tackled into the cage by Chaney. Chaney maintains the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wm Chaney dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lane lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Chaney tries to counter with a takedown but Lane is quick to defend against it. Lane scores with a head kick. Chaney tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Wm Chaney has been cut. Dylan Lane seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lane connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Chaney shoots and misses and Lane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Lane is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chaney takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. The fight stays on the outside here - Lane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A left and a right from Lane both land. Nice combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lane throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lane throws a head kick that misses. A combination from Lane does no damage. Lane tries to clinch up but Chaney circles away and keeps his distance. A counter left hand to the body from Chaney misses its target.

Lane throws a leg kick and Chaney counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lane is breathing heavily. Lane has hold of Chaney's hands but Chaney slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Chaney lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Chaney is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lane is just riding it out for now. Chaney eventually gives up the hold. Chaney is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Lane is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Chaney scores with a couple of nice shots. Chaney slows the pace down in half guard. Lane is looking to control Chaney's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lane avoid being mounted? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dylan Lane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Wm Chaney's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Lane wants to clinch but Chaney slips to the side so Chaney counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Chaney's corner is telling him to maintain position. Chaney stands up and waves to Lane to follow him. Chaney shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lane as he jumps to the side. Lane misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chaney thinks about countering with a head kick. Chaney fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And Lane tries to counter it with a takedown but Chaney pushes his down on his head and steps out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lane moves in looking to clinch but Chaney pushes him off. Good exchange - Lane coming out on top. Chaney circles away from the clinch attempt and Chaney counters with a series of strikes. Lane will be more careful next time no doubt.

Lane is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Chaney presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Lane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lane moves in looking to clinch but Chaney pushes him off. Lane scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Chaney has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lane finds it's way round the side to connect with Chaney's head. Chaney checks a leg kick. Lane is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

As Lane looks to move away, Chaney throws a big counter combo but Lane just gets out of the way. Dylan Lane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lane wants to clinch up but Chaney keeps it at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lane connects with a leg kick. Chaney looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Lane wants to clinch up but Chaney keeps it at a distance. Lane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chaney paws at him with a jab and circles away. Chaney tried to counter with a leg kick but Lane avoided it. Lane throws a combination that misses and Chaney counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lane! Lane takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Chaney has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Chaney shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lane counters with a big head kick but Chaney shrugs it off. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wm Chaney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lane lands with a cross. Lane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that's the end of the fight! Dylan Lane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lane has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
