Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ao Kuang (ranked 6415 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cormier Daniel (ranked 8248 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ao Kuang has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ao Kuang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cormier Daniel! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniel tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kuang dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Daniel. That did some damage! A decent looking body kick lands there for Kuang. Kuang swats away the attempt to clinch by Daniel. A chopping leg kick lands by Kuang. Kuang tries to clinch but Daniel moves out of range. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kuang.
Daniel tries to clinch up but Kuang circles away and keeps his distance. Kuang lands a leg kick that knocks Daniel off balance momentarily. Kuang throws a leg kick which misses Daniel's front leg but catches the back leg as Daniel tries to avoid it. Daniel fails in his attempt to clinch. Daniel on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kuang. Kuang obviously looking to wear him down.
A slapping body kick lands there for Kuang. Kuang moves out of range of the strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Daniel tries to clinch but Kuang is having none of it. A kick lands to the mid section there for Kuang. Daniel looks winded! Kuang swats away the attempt to clinch by Daniel. Daniel is looking to clinch but Kuang is avoiding it.
Kuang moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuang lands a left hand that snaps the head of Daniel backwards. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kuang creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Daniel's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Kuang softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Daniel blocks an uppercut.
Kuang lands a shoulder strike. Kuang working some nice short punches in the clinch. Kuang gets through Daniel's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Daniel is rocked! A nice left hand lands by Kuang.
Daniel is still on wobbly legs! Can Kuang finish him? Kuang avoiding damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Daniel misses with a hook from the clinch. Kuang will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Daniel up against the cage. Kuang throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Daniels head. Kuang lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Daniel backwards. Kuang lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Daniel to his knees! Kuang keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ao Kuang!
