Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fulton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Smith defends it easily.
Smith controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Fulton throws his legs up looking for a submission but Smith uses it to pass to side control.
Fulton is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Fulton down.
Smith is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fulton's shoulder. That is not cool.

Smith is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fulton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
