Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chosu Viv (ranked 21959 p4p, 614 weight class) and Orlando Boom (ranked 6144 p4p, 484 weight class). Chosu Viv has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chosu Viv!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Orlando Boom!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom leaves Viv with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Both fighters circling a little - Boom finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Viv shoots in for a takedown but Boom shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Viv changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boom tries to avoid it but Viv manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boom to the ground. Boom escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chosu Viv. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Viv shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Boom counters with a head kick. That will keep Viv thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Viv throws a nice looking combination but Boom bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Boom only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Viv shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boom but Boom pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Viv tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boom swivels and escapes.
Boom works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Viv is trying hard to land a takedown here. Boom sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Boom delivers a nice body kick.
Viv fails with a takedown attempt.
Boom lands with a kick to the temple. Viv shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Boom has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

Boom tries to escape but Viv is in control.
Viv sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Boom is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Viv looks up at the clock and then as Boom takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Viv smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Viv tries for a kimura but Boom is defending well.
Viv is chipping away with strikes.
Boom wants to get back to his feet but Viv drags him back down.
Viv lands a decent elbow from side control.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Viv connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Boom some visible discomfort.
Boom is pushing Viv's head away, looking to escape. Viv manages to hold on to the position though.

Boom tries to escape but Viv is in control.
Viv definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Viv is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Boom has escaped the position, nice work there.

Boom takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Viv lands some shots froms side control.
Boom is trying to get back to his feet.

Viv scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Boom is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Viv can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
